SHIPPING POLICY

A hand wearing a white glove holding a small sealed bag with a foam object inside, over a white paper-lined box with straw-like packing material.
  • To provide a seamless and tranquil experience, MINGEI 1926 operates on a strict "Zero Friction" philosophy.
The listed price of every specimen in our archive includes our reliable global transit via Japan Post (EMS) and all necessary, museum-grade archival packing. There will be no hidden shipping fees added at checkout.

We take full responsibility for managing complex export documentation, allowing you to focus solely on the aesthetic gravity of your selection.

  • All objects are dispatched from Japan (Osaka) within 3–5 business days. We utilize professional carriers (Japan Post EMS / Yamato Global) with comprehensive tracking. Average transit time is 7–14 days depending on your location and customs clearance.

  • As we deal with irreplaceable vintage spirits, we prioritize security. Each object is triple-protected using impact-resistant materials. In honor of the Japanese philosophy of "Mottainai," we may incorporate recycled daily newspapers as buffering—acting as both high-density padding and an organic archive of Japanese daily life.

  • Recipient is responsible for any local import duties or VAT incurred upon arrival. Each shipment includes an official invoice to ensure professional customs processing.

  • Since our objects are original vintage artifacts (mid-20th century or older), natural signs of age (patina) are an inherent part of their value. We do not accept returns for change of mind.

If an item arrives damaged due to transit, please notify us at ask@mingei1926.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the box and object for an immediate resolution.

  • Every "Spirits" adoption is a commitment between us and the new guardian. For any logistical questions regarding your selected object, our curation team is available via email to assist you.
